Kate Lowe is a Creative Wedding photographer based in Derby, Nottingham and Leicester. As you can see, Kate is also an amazing product photograher, who has styled all of these shots just for us and I am sure you will agree, they are absoloutely beautiful.
Sheena Holland was born in Camden London. In her teens she worked for the fashion designer Katharine Hamnett in the late 1980's at Katharine's design studios as the design room assistant, working on sourcing and preparing fabrics for the catwalks. Katharine's designs and fabrics at the time were a statement both politically and creatively which influenced sheena. The fact that she used British made fabrics and British woollen designers plus natural non synthetic materials for her clothes greatly impacted sheena's thinking and future designs.
From 1990 until 2003 Sheena Holland went on to design large floral, wire and concrete sculptures in London. Whilst working for corporate florists she freelanced for private clients and one off events like The Queen Mother's 100th Birthday celebration, Elton John's 54th birthday at The Ritz, Michael Jacksons 'World' tour, Jeffrey Archers London and country homes, Films: The Mummy and Sense and Sensibility.
Sheena Holland started making one off Vintage feather and leather headbands in 2005 and was the first designer to create the feather 'side tiara'. She now creates headbands, bridal tiaras, jewellery and hats made from vintage materials using re-worked leather, antique, vintage jewellery and feathers combining fashion, shapes and colours from her training with Hamnetts and floristry. Her designs have sold to many people, clients include singers Pink, Lily Allen and comedian Alan Carr.
Sheena Holland also runs very successful festivals and markets in Derby and Nottingham, breathing new life into our high streets.
Susan Hill is a designer and maker of beautiful handcrafted silver and gold jewellery. Having studied jewellery design in Birmingham she now works from her studio in Derby. All of Susan's pieces are individually designed and handcrafted using traditional silversmithing techniques to create a range of unique and divine jewellery. Combining the contrasting textures and finishes of sterling silver and gold to create a stunning contemporary look and feel. Please take a look at Susan's new work in copper and silver for Maison Amour called 'Peace', incorporating lovely vintage Swarovski crystal beads. Each piece is unique and absoloutely gorgeous!
Laura Lees. Instantly recognisable for her ‘guerilla’ embroidery, Laura Lees executes idiosyncratic images using traditional embellishment techniques. From the pages of Vogue to large-scale art works, collaborative projects or commissions; her singularly modern approach to arts and crafts, womenswear and tapestry exudes hard-edged, tongue-in-cheek femininity. This unique designer also hosts embroidery tuition sessions, described by TimeOut as ‘riotously enjoyable’
The Mighty Stitch Evening classes with Laura Lees are created for participants to learn or further their skills in machine embroidery.The Mighty Stitch Studio is a fantastic space and great for all sorts of occasions, hen do’s, birthday parties, ladies who lunch, retirement, engagements, baby showers. You name it and the Mighty Stitch can do it.

Enamore by Jenny Ambrose A British brand of clothing which featured a beautiful collection of eco-friendly lingerie, with an underlying retro feel and made from sustainable materials including organic silk, cotton, hemp, soy and bamboo, free from pesticides, insecticides, herbicides and fertilizers. Coloured and printed by natural, vegetable Azo-free dyes supporting ethical fashion and fairly paid labour. A really beautiful eco friendly brand. The designs are inspired by vintage shapes, particuarly from the forties and include a range of lovely dresses, jackets and accessories. Sometimes incorporating vintage fabrics too! A gorgeous brand with a heart. All handmade in England. Jenny Ambrose returned to her home in Canada in 2011 and set up The Makehouse in 2012, which embodies a lifestyle built around sewing, textiles, education, and the arts.
Pistol Panties by Deborah Flemming designer of the most beautiful , super glamorous swim and beach wear. The concept was to create beautifully designed, perfectly cut swimwear with a focus on using only the very highest quality fabrics and manufacturing. Pistol Panties succeeds in being just that, uniting quirky style and the feminine glamour of the 1950's with the perfect flattering cut made with exclusive materials. Born in Paris, Deborah's cosmopolitan up bringing in Miami, Geneva, London, New York and Los Angeles contributed a wealth of inspiration for her swimwear. The Pistol Panties flagship store is situated in the fashionale Nottinghill area of London.
Pachacuti pronounced: pa-cha-cu-tee. Founded on a passion for improving the lives of Andean producers and their communities, Pachacuti is committed to creating a successful, contemporary fashion and accessories business built on the foundation of Fair Trade. Pachacuti means "world upside-down" in the Quechua language and describes our endeavour to redress the inequalities in the global fashion industry through demonstrating that it is possible to run a successful retail and wholesale clothing business which benefits the producers and is environmentally sustainable.
Georgie Harris screen printed fashion and home accessories. Each piece is crafted from silks and printed with designs inspired by the flowers found in the beautiful Peak District. The Collection includes a range of scarves and cushions. Georgie has completed commissions for Liberty, The National Gallery and Graham and Green in London.
Dexter Wong Since graduating from Central St Martin's School of Art in the Eighties, Dexter Wong has applied his key design philiosophies to create innovative and yet wearable menswear, womenswear, accessories and jewellery. Dexter Wong is a very busy man, working on various projects including being an external examiner to Northampton University BA in Fashion Design, judging at fashion shows and also designing his own successful menswear range for Lens at Topman.
Ciel is a contemporary womens wear and lingerie label by designer Sarah Ratty, founded in 2003 with a simple design aesthetic to make beautiful clothes from the best possible green fabrics. Ciel's hand knits made from beautiful soft organic alpaca wool and their gorgeous organic cotton underwear are loved by women who have both an eco conscience and a love of beautiful, luxurious clothing.
Ciel now makes gorgeous home wares too, all with the same eco ethics as their clothing, incorporating carefully selected enviromentally and ethically produced fabrics.
Del Forte Denim by designer Tierra Del Forte The organic cotton jeans brand that proved its commitment to the environment. Tierra visited factories all over the world and saw what irreparable damage the garment industry could have on the workers and environment and decided that she had to start her own company to show people how a clothing company could make quality organic goods without harming people or the earth. The result was Del Forte, and Tierra managed to accomplish her goal and more. Having an ethical factory meant the workers received fair pay and were able to maintain their quality of life.
The jeans are truly beautiful and though its not so easy to find a pair now her dream lives on in the company PACT Apparel which Tierra is Director of Product and Merchandising.
Denise Bird Woven Textiles Denise Bird graduated from the Chelsea College of Art’s textile design program in 1998 and designs stunning and environmentally conscious woven textiles from an interesting palette of traditional and newly developed materialsl.
In 2005, her business was selected by the Crafts Council of England as one of the most "innovative and creative emerging design talents in the U.K".
Denise’s gorgeous ranges includes fabrics for fashion and furnishings, often combining several different kinds of fibres in a weave. Cotton and alpaca, organic cotton and silk, pakucho and felt, bamboo and soybean, and finally Tencel, are some of the materials and combinations that go into her beautiful work. Acknowledging the importance of sustainability and actively pursuing new and thoughtful ways of designing are clear in Denise Bird's work.
Celia Birtwell Celia Birtwell, CBE, is a British textile designer and fashion designer, known for her distinctive bold and romantic designs, influenced by Matisse , Picasso, and the classical world are the ultimate iin femininity and unique style. These beautiful designs are lovingly incoporated into glorious fashion and interior design works.
In 2006, Topshop launched four sell-out Celia Birtwell collections After this huge success Celia collaborated with Boots on an exclusive range of sunglasses and toiletries.
In 2011 Celia Birtwell' and Dominic Lutyens book, Celia Birtwell was released book, Celia Birtwell A collation of her lifetime of gorgeous quirky designs filled a scrapbook styled publication. Also in 2011 Celia was awarded the CBE for services to the fashion industry,
Ana Mika by Anamika Khanna is the first female Indian fashion designer to display her collections at the Paris Fashion Week held in 2007 and is one of the leading fashion designers of India. Anamila Khanna is said to be a designer who has blended traditional Indian textiles and teqhniques with Western tailoring and silhouette and has also been instrumental towards the modernization of Indian craft through her modern clothing made from Indian textiles. Dhoti style saris have become the signature creations of Anamika Khanna and have been worn by famous Bollywood stars like Sonam Kapoor on many occasions. She works from her studio which situated in Kolkata, selling her beautiful creations throughout India.
